Project management, as you probably know, due to the nature of the latest blog posts, plays a major role in the CIMA E2 program. Project management in the finance department (or office) is becoming increasingly common and this is an area of the program that I can directly connect to my work experiences.

A key theme of the E2 project management section of the document is based on risk management and on how to manage the risks that have been identified in the project planning phase.

4.   Reduce

Once you have drawn up a list of the risks you need to manage they should all fall into one of the above TARA categories. To get a clearer picture of how this works, each category can be placed in a matrix.
